The De Young Museum in Golden Gate Park has a unique contemporary design using perforated copper siding which is meant to oxidize to a greenish tone.
The exterior architecture of this building grows on you.
The attached observation tower gives you nice views of the California Academy of Sciences and surrounding Golden Gate Park and San Francisco.
